Who we are
Finishing Touches is a cleaning business in Preston, Lancashire. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. Contact: 01772 394 177 or the form on our contact page.
What we collect
When you use our quote or contact form we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, postcode or area, the service and property details, preferred date and any message. If you call or WhatsApp us, we receive your number and anything you tell us.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out any cleaning you book, and keep the records we need for that service. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract. We don’t sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.
Keys, alarm codes and access details
If you give us keys, alarm codes or access instructions, we use them only for your cleans and keep them securely. Please tell us when they change or when you no longer need us to hold them, and we will return or delete them.
Who we share it with
This website is hosted by Netlify, and enquiry forms are handled by Netlify Forms, which stores form submissions on our behalf. Netlify may process data outside the UK, with safeguards in place under UK data protection law. Messages sent by WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp (Meta). We don’t share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. If you become a customer, we keep records for as long as we provide your service and as long as we are required to by law (for example, for tax records).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to or restrict how we use it. Email us to make a request. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
